				FSNavigator flight plans

Premise: You and your trusty DC-3 / R4D were loaded on a ship in San Francisco, California. After what could have been weeks or months tied to your bunk on the ship (mal de mer), the crew drags you from your cabin and tells you your plane is being unloaded. You have several charters to fly in the Halifax area. You stagger down the gangway, look lovingly at your plane and ask where the Halifax airport is located. The Captain points with his arm and says, "About 3,000 miles that way." Instead of heading for the Panama Canal and up the east coast to Halifax, Nova Scotia you learn that this steamer came up the WEST coast and off-loaded you at Port Hardy. Well, better to fly 3,000 miles than to spend another day on that ship.

Route: From sea level in British Columbia, enjoy the scenery as you cross the Canadian Rockies. Land on the high plains at Calgary, Alberta then fly over a land of lakes in Manatoba inbound to Winnipeg. On to Thunder Bay, cross Lake Superior to Sault Ste Marie and then to Ottawa, Ontario. Into Quebec Province to land at Montreal and follow the St Lawrence River to Quebec. Cross New Brunswick with a stop at Moncton and back to near sea level for a final landing at Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Installation:
Unzip the compressed file (324-6.ip) into an empty directory.

Print a description file (either the .RTF or .DOC files). The RTF should open in any word processor - it has minimal formatting (tabs and bold). I did find that WordPad corrupted some of the tabs. If you have Word 2000, the .DOC file should give a true representation of what I saved.

FSN files - copy them to the proper directory. If you did a default installation of FS2000/FS2002 and you have FSNavigator (ver 4.5), install to:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS200x\Modules\FSNavigator\Plan

These navigation files were created in FSNavigator 4.51 and may not be incompatible with some earlier versions.

I hope you enjoy this trip across Canada.
